Funk Futures, an energy technology recruitment firm, is assisting a leading energy industry collaborator find a highly motivated & qualified customer success professional. This company provides a unique SaaS marketplace platform for B2B discovery and de-risking of emerging technologies- purely in the energy sector. The Customer Success Manager will manage a series of accounts in order to communicate and deliver maximum impact from company products and services.

- 
The primary requirements are 3-5+ years of commercial B2B experience with SaaS or tech enabled services – customer success, enterprise sales, account management, & consulting. 
- 
Energy Industry experience is preferred, but not required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- 
Partner with company clients to communicate and deliver maximum impact from company products and services. 
- 
Own the design and implementation of customer success plans along the entire customer journey from acquisition through renewal and expansion. 
- 
Creatively monitor and interpret client engagement data to identify opportunities to deliver more value for the customer with the company’s products, services, and unique network. 
- 
Lead regular business reviews with clients to thoughtfully illustrate impact and ROI to the client and generate the most useful feedback for the company. 
- 
Act as trusted translator between clients and the company’s product and research teams to deliver results and inform retention strategies, content development and product roadmaps.

ABOUT THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 
5-10+ years of commercial B2B experience with SaaS or tech enabled services – customer success, enterprise sales, account management, consulting. 
- 
Energy Industry experience preferred, but not required. 
- 
Existing understanding of the unit economics related to a subscription business and trade-offs related to retention strategies. 
- 
Grit and the willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed. 
- 
Being coachable, taking extreme ownership and trusting the process. 
- 
Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills. 
- 
Highly proficient in Powerpoint and Excel and ideally PowerBI.
