Partnership supports the expansion of WorkSync’s efforts to help producers “Operate by Exception” through their solutions designed to improve workflow prioritization, engineering automation, and field execution across Oil & Gas Operations
DENVER, CO— JUNE 17, 2026 — Funk Futures (www.funkfutures.com) today announced a partnership with WorkSync (www.work-sync.ai) to support the continued growth and market expansion of its Industrial Decision Intelligence Platform for upstream oil and gas operators. The collaboration is focused on delivering the highest-value next action to E&P operators by turning operational, engineering, financial, and risk data into faster decisions connecting field execution, engineering workflows, and operational data within a unified platform.
As the Oil and Gas industry as a whole continues facing increasing pressure to optimize production, reduce inefficiencies and LOE, and manage increasingly complex operations, the need for faster and more intelligent operational decision-making has become more than a nice to have. It is critical.
WorkSync was built to address these challenges through the Industrial Decision Intelligence Platform: a data foundation, an intelligence engine, and an execution engine, working as one. At the core of the platform is WellOPS, the Operational Execution Engine. WellOPS pumps by priority: every well ranked daily by cash flow and risk, continuously identifying opportunities, prioritizing work, and getting the plan into every truck by 6 AM. Rather than requiring teams to manually monitor dozens of systems and reports, WellOPS centralizes insights that help surface the highest-value activities that drive operational and business outcomes.
The platform also includes FlowSync, the Asset Intelligence Engine, which automates front-end engineering analysis and hydraulic modeling workflows. At its core is a physics engine that rapidly identifies and diagnoses issues and partners with engineering teams to solve field challenges, from lift optimization to flow line sizing to asset management. By reducing manual engineering effort and accelerating technical evaluations, compressing 200 hours of engineering work to 20 minutes, FlowSync moves teams from analysis to action faster while keeping engineering processes consistent, and lays the foundation for AI agents to participate directly in engineering analysis.
Supporting both applications is DataHub, the data foundation of the platform. DataHub combines operational, engineering, financial, and risk data into one living dataset everyone trusts, from the field to the CFO, with 40-plus pre-built integrations into the systems operators already run. It can mirror data back to the client’s own data lake or let the client connect directly to WorkSync’s data lake to accelerate their relational data warehouse standup. The result is a common source of operational truth that cuts the time to understand operational performance from weeks to hours.
Designed for agility and field usability, the platform emphasizes rapid deployment and a user experience tailored specifically for operators and engineers working in real-world operating environments.
Through the partnership, Funk Futures will support WorkSync in strengthening market positioning, expanding strategic engagement across the upstream sector, and increasing visibility among operators seeking industrial decision intelligence solutions.
“Operators are under constant pressure to do more with fewer resources while maintaining reliability and efficiency across ever more demanding regulatory environments, while inflation drives LOE higher amongst volatile commodity prices,” said Michael Atkin, CEO of WorkSync. “Operators do not need more dashboards; they need clarity on what will hit the company's bottom line. Our platform was designed first and foremost for field operations. WorkSync helps teams drive operational efficiency by combining production impact, economics, operational risk, and field realities into a single execution framework to operate more intelligently in real time. Partnering with Funk Futures allows us to expand how we pursue market opportunities and connect these capabilities with operators looking to modernize their workflows.”
“Oil and Gas companies have no shortage of data, but most still struggle to translate that information into clear operational action,” said Jeremy Funk, Founder and CEO of Funk Futures. “WorkSync’s key value is to help teams prioritize what matters most - to truly uberize the oilfield and support the implementation of pumping by exception with modern technology. The way that they can connect systems and support better decisions in the flow of daily operations is game-changing. I have personally been discussing this very subject with operators for the past dozen years, and the WorkSync team solves it better than anyone I have come across.”
